Themistoklis school: AstronoMine at the EfVET Conference

Our innovative project, AstronoMine, made its way to Italy last year, proudly represented by Kassandra Stathatou, a dedicated primary teacher from Themistoklis Educational Organization. 

As part of a European Erasmus+ program, Kassandra enthusiastically showcased our organization's pioneering initiatives and the dynamic aspects of the Greek education system. Through her presentation, AstronoMine’s unique approach to teaching astronomy—combining interactive activities and STEM-focused methodologies—captured the interest of educators across Europe. 

This opportunity not only disseminated our project’s vision but also facilitated valuable exchanges of ideas and best practices. Kassandra returned inspired and equipped with fresh, innovative strategies to enhance AstronoMine, ensuring it continues to ignite curiosity and foster a love for science among young learners.
