Astronomine - Astronomy learning through Minecraft' is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme. It aims to stimulate interest in STEAM topics among 9-12 year olds and build knowledge on astronomical topics using the game Minecraft. In addition to astronomical knowledge, it will seek to develop transversal skills such as logic, creativity and scientific thinking by creating different Minecraft worlds.

Astronomine Erasmus+ is a knowledge partnership project led by Drumcondra Education Centre (Ireland). The other members of the consortium are Private School Themistoklis (Greece), NUCLIO (Portugal), Atermon B.V. (The Netherlands), Hearthands Solutions (Cyprus) and Elhuyar (Basque Country).

The project officially started on 1 November 2022 and will run for 24 months. In 2024, the game set for working on astronomy with young people aged 9-12 will be published free of charge
